Suma Metla
Pediatric Physical Therapist
Dr. Suma Metla is a physical therapist who specializes in pediatric care. She received her doctorate in physical therapy in 2015 at Florida International University and pediatric training at Arnold and Winnie Palmer Hospitals for Women and Children. She has treated infants and keiki across all the Hawaiian islands.
She also holds an infant massage coaching certification and is a registered 200 hour yoga teacher! She cares deeply about keiki and families, and has served as a board member for Special Olympics, March of Dimes, and is currently on board with Helping Hands Hawaii.
Moving to Hawaii, she noticed that there is a significant lack of support for new parents. As new parenthood can be a lonely and stressful time, she wanted to give parents access to the resources, guidance, and community they need to not only ease their worries, but set them up for a healthy development for their keiki. With this, Three Little Ducks was born.
Though she is quite the busy mom, she finds time to do the things she loves, including spending time with friends and family, kayaking, and going to her favorite beach spot!
