Maggie Jennings
Childbirth Educator/Doula
Maggie Jennings of Belly Laughs Birth Services offers AWESOME birth, breastfeeding & newborn care classes, as well as birth doula services. Maggie's goal as a birth professional is to help parents feel confident as they approach birth & parenthood – and to have as much FUN as possible along the way! A self-proclaimed info junkie, she is always reviewing research and taking new trainings in an effort to provide the best info and tools. Her interactive classes & workshops cover all parents need to know about birth through the use of games, videos, and discussion. This ain’t your ma’s Lamaze – breathing is important and practiced, but there’s a lot more included in her classes! She promotes evidence-based care and informed consent/refusal, helping parents prepare for both the physical & emotional sides of birth as well as showing them how to be active participants in their own care.
Maggie has been supporting new and expecting parents in the Temecula Valley since 2008 – she is a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, an Evidence Based Birth® Instructor, a DONA-certified birth doula, a Certified Lactation Counselor, a Certified Happiest Baby Educator, and the local Chapter Leader for ICAN (International Cesarean Awareness Network). She is also the mother of four amazing children, enabling her to bring that experience and perspective to her classes as well. At the end of the day, she wants all new parents to remember Dr Benjamin Spock's famous words: “Trust yourself. You know more than you think you do.”
