Postpartum Doula
Doris is a postpartum doula specializing in newborn multiples. She provides care for the mother and her family in their first few weeks following the birth. She provides non-medical support and companionship; assist with newborn care, meal preparation and household organization. Doris offers evidence-based information on infant feeding, emotional and physical recovery from childbirth and other issues related to the postpartum period. Her practical aim is to provide families with the comprehensive knowledge, support and information that they need, in a non-judgmental manner. She is registered and finger printed through Trust Line; currently certified in Adult/Child/Infant CPR& First Aid; certified with DONA (Doulas of North America), a chapter co-leader of ICAN; and voted The Doula of the Year 2008 from DASC (Doulas Association of Southern California), and member of CEA-OC.
