Dominique works for Virginia Department of Health Peninsula District WIC office. Married and has two beautiful girls aged 4 years and 16 months. Gained a passion for breastfeeding and birth shortly after oldest was born. Outside of working for WIC, she volunteers for local support groups that advocate for breastfeeding and birth. They are Breastfeeding Mamas, which is a local support group that aims to help mothers with breastfeeding and providing them with accurate breastfeeding information, and Birth Matters, which advocate for positive birth outcomes and improving maternity care in the area hospitals. Dominique did her undergrad in Community Education at Virginia Commonwealth University and is currently getting her masters in Lactation Services through Union Institute and University.
