Amy Sorter
Eco-Friendly Advocate
From an early age, Amy's mother taught her about living green. She grew up reusing and recycling just about everything in our household, from clothing to blankets to water containers. They hung their laundry out back to dry and raised our own chickens and enjoyed their fresh eggs. Everything that could be used again was put back in rotation, nothing was ever wasted. But after graduating college, and moving out on her own, everything was about convenience and efficiency. In 2007, Amy had her daughter, Molly. Becoming a parent completely changed the way she looked at the Earth, and what her legacy would leave behind. That's when she and her Eco Soul Sister, Michele, started EcoSavvyMoms.com, a community where moms can go to discuss these topics and learn from each other.
