The dispenser is very easy to assemble and mount to the wall — I was able to start using mine within just minutes of opening the box. There are 5 decal colors to choose from; I used the green and pink decals to coordinate with the decor of our nursery. I use disposable diapers and wipes from The Honest Company, and the Bobee held approximately 28 size-3 diapers at a time, which gets us through about 4-5 days at my house. The diapers portion of the dispenser works very well; it's nice to have the next diaper ready within easy reach without taking up valuable real estate on top of the changing table. However, I found that the wipes portion of the unit could be improved. In order for wipes to feed through the opening in the dispenser, you need to unseal a packet of wipes, pull out the first wipe partway, and feed that first wipe through the opening. Once you've used a wipe, the next one should feed through the opening. But, as we all know, the next wipe often doesn't “pop out” automatically, it sometimes stays stuck in the package, and now you have to kind of blindly dig around up in the Bobee for the next wipe. Since you really can't mount a Bobee directly above your changing table (I think Baby's curious hands would interfere too much), you wind up spending a lot of time turned away from the table, trying to fish out a wipe. My other issue with the wipes function is that you will always have some portion of your first wipe be dried out because it is sticking out of the opening of the Bobee. It's the same as if you never resealed a regular package of wipes; about an inch of the top of the wipe will dry out and be useless, and you usually end up discarding that half-dried one, so this is somewhat wasteful in the long run.

The Bobee Diaper Dispenser is easy to install. The holes in the back of the frame are large enough to use a pen to mark on the wall which is very helpful! The stickers are very easy to put on and reposition. We use cloth, pocket diapers and they had some trouble fitting in the dispenser. We were able to fit only 10 diapers in the dispenser which only last about 2 days. Getting the diapers out of the dispenser was also difficult but the dispenser is tough and even if the diaper got stuck, we could jerk it out and not fear the dispenser falling. If we used pre-folds and covers only, we think this would work very well since. We would keep the pre-folds in the dispenser and the cover in a drawer or on a shelf near by. The space the dispenser saves on a changing table is precious and it would be very helpful in small spaces.

I think the Bobee Diaper and Wipes Dispenser is a really cool tool for those of us with limited space on our hands, and I absolutely love the concept. There a few reasons I give it a four rather than a five. First and foremost, it isn't great for the style of cloth diapers we use (pockets) because you can only fit the inserts through the slot, and still have to store the shells elsewhere. I like to prestuff my diapers so this just wasn't a step I was thrilled about adding to my life. If you were using prefold or flat cloth diapers, it would be great. I've had personal experience with carpet beetles getting in my diapers when they're kept near the ground (yuck) and I love that they're up high instead. It would be a wonderful system for disposables especially! We use disposable wipes and the Bobee was great for them! Right in arms reach and they really didn't dry out as much as I'd expected being exposed to the air. I'm really glad they included the decals to soften the look of it, because without them it did look a little bit “public restroom” to me. I really enjoyed decorating it and was very pleased with how it looked when I was done. All in all I'm very glad to have had the opportunity to use the Bobee and will be keeping it around for wipes and storing my extra inserts and doublers without taking up unnecessary shelf space.
