Karen Kobayashi

Dr. Karen Kobayashi is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist serving the San Diego area. Dr. Kobayashi received her undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Michigan. She received her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Florida. She subsequently completed her OB/GYN residency at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Kobayashi is a diplomate of The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Kobayashi is chairwoman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center and also practices at Paradise Valley Hospital in National City. Her special interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and infertility. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling and exercising. Dr. Kobayashi resides in downtown San Diego.
