Vicki Lombardo

Nurse, March of Dimes

Vicki Lombardo is currently the Associate State Director of Program Services for the California Chapter of March of Dimes. As such she is responsible for overseeing the Community Grant and Community Award program for the divisions, supporting professional education activities, and encouraging volunteer activities to reach the community with March of Dimes curricula and messages. Prior to joining the March of Dimes, Vicki had more than 25 years of experience as a maternal child health director growing and managing perinatal services with key responsibility for managing nursing services, obtaining regulatory approval and licenses for NICU and PICU startup or expansion, physician recruitment, staff training and program development, including outpatient services and clinics for major tertiary medical centers and community hospitals. Vicki has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh, and Masters of Science in Nursing from the Statewide Nursing Program, California State University Dominguez Hills. She is a member of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetrics and Neonatal Nursing. Ms. Lombardo’s professional experience includes work at Fountain Valley Regional Medical Center, Community Hospital of San Bernardino, University of California Irvine Medical Center and for many years as the Administrative Director, Maternal Child Health and Acute Medical Services at Martin Luther Hospital in Anaheim, California.
