Marilyn Lewis

Marriage and Family Therapist

Marilyn Lewis is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in private practice, offering counseling services to individuals, couples and children and families. She is a wife, mother of two adult children, and grandmother of three. Marilyn counsels from a Biblical worldview. She believes that every person is uniquely designed by God with specific gifts, purposes and passions. Because of life’s hurts and our choices, we may have hindrances that keep us from living out our purposes. She can guide the process of breaking through the hindrances to a more joyful and purposeful life. Because of her own family’s journey with her daughter’s two adopted children, she has pursued extensive training in trauma informed therapies equipping her to help and support struggling families. She specializes in working with children with challenging behaviors while helping their parents understand and attune to their emotional needs. She offers research-based interventions that build connection, and playful interactions within the family. Her passion and delight is to see positive changes in families as they find hope and healing.
